Without getting too into the weeds...

Without getting too into the weeds, there's a host of negative long-term environmental effects of synthetic fibers. The petroleum byproducts that are widely used to make clothing and nonwoven products are non-biodegradable, take decades to decompose, and release harmful dyes and microplastics into waterways.

The bast fibers of industrial hemp that grow on the outside of the plant's stalks have high tensile strength and are very absorbent. Hemp fibers are a plant-based alternative to synthetic fibers for both woven and non-woven products.

Products made from hemp fiber are plastic-free, compostable, and are sourced from a renewable and regenerative cash crop that captures carbon and remediates soil. Let's grow a better future 🌱
